EBAJA SEASON 2026

Resonance Racing India demonstrated resilience and determination in the 2026 season of eBAJA SAE India, securing an AIR 7 against strong national competition. Despite evolving challenges, the team delivered commendable performances across events, reflecting their technical capability and perseverance on and off the track. Each phase of the competition tested their adaptability, teamwork, and engineering insight, contributing to a well-earned national standing.
The team comprised 18 committed members under the leadership of Captain Mr. Sarthak Bhogil, with Vice Captains Gaurav Vannere and Aditya Katkar. Their guidance and collaborative spirit ensured steady progress throughout the season, making this achievement a proud chapter in the continued journey of Resonance Racing India.
With the transition towards an electric powertrain, our team embraced a new set of engineering challenges and opportunities. Developing an electric vehicle required expertise beyond conventional BAJA systems, prompting us to collaborate closely with industry professionals and domain experts. We received valuable guidance in motor selection and tuning, custom battery pack design and manufacturing, battery management integration, and electric powertrain optimization. To achieve our lightweight design objectives, we also explored advanced composite manufacturing techniques, including the use of carbon fibre for selected structural and non-structural components. These industry interactions accelerated our learning, helped us adopt best engineering practices, and enabled us to develop an efficient, reliable, and competition-ready electric BAJA vehicle.
MBAJA SEASON 2025

Resonance Racing India continued its legacy of excellence in the 2025 season of mBAJA SAE India, securing an impressive AIR 2. Competing with unwavering determination, the team showcased remarkable consistency across dynamic and static events, earning a total of 7 trophies. Each challenge on the field tested their endurance, innovation, and teamwork, pushing them to perform at their very best.
The team, comprising 20 dedicated members, was led by Captain Mr. Mahesh Shingote and Vice-Captain Raj Gugale. Their leadership fostered unity and resilience, guiding the team through intense preparation and high-pressure moments. This achievement stands as a testament to their hard work, passion, and the relentless pursuit of engineering excellence.
Our team actively collaborated with industry experts throughout the vehicle development cycle to bridge the gap between design and manufacturing. Camtech Technology provided precision CNC and VMC machining support for critical drivetrain components, while SSP Laser Cut delivered high-accuracy laser-cut parts. Gabriel India supported the research, development, validation, and manufacturing of our custom damper system, enabling us to optimize suspension performance. We also received valuable technical guidance from industry professionals during the development of custom components such as brake callipers, dampers, and other performance-critical systems, ensuring our designs were practical, manufacturable, and reliable. In addition, our alumni network played a vital role by mentoring the team during design reviews, validating engineering decisions, sharing past competition experience, and assisting in technical presentation and static event preparation. Their continuous guidance helped us refine our design approach and improve our overall competition readiness.
M-BAJA SEASON 2024

Resonance Racing India reached a remarkable milestone by securing AIR 1 in the 2024 season at mBAJA SAE India, held in January 2024. Competing against the nation’s finest teams, they delivered an exhilarating performance, dominating both dynamic and static events to claim an outstanding 11 trophies. Every run on the track reflected precision, resilience, and countless hours of dedication.
The team of 22 passionate members, led by Captain Mr. Manthan Muke and Vice-Captain Atharv Chirmure, showcased not just technical brilliance but unwavering team spirit. From late-night build sessions to high-pressure finals, their journey embodied perseverance and ambition, culminating in a proud and emotional victory for the entire AISSMS community.
To strengthen our manufacturing capabilities, we established strong industry connections with reliable manufacturing partners. About Resonance Racing
Resonance Racing is the official student motorsports team of AISSMS College of Engineering, Pune, established with the objective of providing engineering students an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world automotive challenges. The team designs, develops, manufactures, assembles, and validates competitive vehicles for participation in prestigious national engineering competitions.
Since its inception, Resonance Racing has evolved into a multidisciplinary technical team where students from various engineering disciplines collaborate to develop innovative mobility solutions. Through project-based learning, students gain practical exposure in vehicle design, manufacturing, testing, project management, leadership, and industrial collaboration.
The team’s journey began with the successful development of Go Kart racing vehicles and has expanded into advanced electric mobility through the Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) project. These initiatives reflect the institute’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and experiential engineering education.

Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV)
Introduction
The Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) project represents Resonance Racing’s commitment to sustainable mobility and advanced automotive engineering. A REEV combines an electric propulsion system with an onboard range extender, enabling longer driving distances while reducing dependency on charging infrastructure.
The project provides students with practical exposure to electric vehicle technologies, energy management systems, battery integration, hybrid powertrain concepts, and intelligent vehicle control.

Resonance Racing Go Kart
Introduction
The Go Kart project is one of the flagship initiatives of Resonance Racing. It provides undergraduate students with a comprehensive understanding of automotive engineering through the complete vehicle development cycle—from conceptual design to final track validation.
Every year, students design, fabricate, assemble, test, and continuously improve their racing vehicle while complying with national competition standards.

Further strengthening its dominance, the team achieved AIR 2 in Design, Skid Pad, and Time Trials, showcasing excellence in engineering innovation, vehicle dynamics, precision manufacturing, and competitive race execution.
