GENERAL STUDENTS ASSOCIATION

The aim of forming General Student’s Association (GSA) is to involve the students in academic, co-curricular & extracurricular activities. Through these GSA members learn planning, organization, analysis, estimation and execution along with trouble shooting, which help in their comprehensive development. From each discipline, we have GS and JGS selected by the respective department.

❖ General Guidelines :-

1. The Candidate should have the calibre to effectively represent his/her
2. The Candidate should be well connected with faculty members and Students of his/her department & should effectively coordinate with
3. The Candidate should be Capable Enough & Actively participating in organizing and managing all the college activities and programs.
4. Candidate shall encourage the students of his/her respective department to actively participate in the collegiate & Inter-collegiate events.
5. The Candidate should help the administration in smooth conduct of student activities & maintain all the records of the departmental and college activities in the
6. The Candidate must follow all the protocols and must be available in all the GSA Committee meetings on/before
7. The Candidate should be a mediator between students and Administration of the
8. Prevention of ragging on the campus through helping the administration whenever
9. The Candidate should create efficient communication channel between On- Campus and Off-Campus activities. (i.e. Conveying all the notices & messages from the college administration, Student Clubs, Student Chapters, etc).
10. Suggesting the administration to improve the student amenities & provided facilities in order to improve their career and
11. Maintenance of peace and harmony among campus community in general and student community in
12. No candidate shall create mutual hatred or cause tension between different castes and communities, religious or linguistic or between any group(s) of
13. Candidates shall refrain from criticism of all aspects of private life not connected with the public activities of other
14. No candidate shall, nor shall his/her supporters, deface or cause any destruction to any property of the Institute.
15. Candidate should refrain from disobedience of order issued by institute, or making a false official statement.
16. If Any GS/JGS fails to do his/her duties, then administration has the right to terminate him/ her from the post.

Besides this GSA committee extend its help to Anti-Ragging Committee, Grievance Committee, Development and Maintenance Committee.
