Centre for Information Training & Placement (CITP)
As the name suggests, the Centre for Information Training & Placement (CITP) is dedicated to facilitating comprehensive training and successful placement of students. Our activities are focused on enhancing the employability of every student by equipping them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and confidence.
Beyond placements, CITP emphasizes self-development and holistic career building, empowering students to thrive in their professional journeys and adapt to the dynamic industry landscape.
Pre-Placement Training
To prepare students thoroughly for campus recruitment, CITP offers comprehensive Pre-Placement Training focused on sharpening key skills required to excel in the selection process.
The training program covers:
• Aptitude Test Preparation: Enhancing problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
• English Communication: Building effective verbal and written communication skills through an industry-aligned training package developed in collaboration with experts.
• Group Discussion: Developing teamwork, articulation, and critical thinking skills.
• Personal Interviews: Equipping students with strategies and confidence to succeed in interviews.
Additionally, industry professionals are regularly invited to conduct soft skills workshops specifically tailored for the BE batch. Seminars on higher education opportunities and career guidance are also organized by experts to help students make informed decisions about their future paths.

Campus Placement
The number of students securing campus placements has shown consistent growth year after year. Our placement drives attract numerous new recruiters, reflecting the increasing trust and recognition of our students’ capabilities. Alongside growth in placement numbers, the average salary packages offered have also seen a significant rise.
Beyond placements, CITP conducts programs aimed at the all-round development of students, covering areas such as career planning, personality development, and entrepreneurship. We also provide dedicated guidance for students aspiring to pursue higher education both in India and abroad.
To broaden exposure to diverse career paths, special lectures and sessions are organized featuring experts from specialized sectors such as the Global Marine Industry, Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force, inspiring students to explore varied professional opportunities.
