Shri Shrimant Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, President – AISSMS

I congratulate Principal Dr. D. S. Bormane and the staff of the college, Honorary Secretary, Shri Malojiraje Chhatrapati, Members of the AISSMS Managing Committee as well as the Governing Council for maintaining the high pace of growth, which is evident in the M.S.B.T.E. results and almost cent percent admissions towards Engineering Courses. I see we are on the path towards the fulfillment of the dream of late Rajarshi Shrimant Shri Shahu Chhatrapati Maharaj. My best wishes to all the Students and the parents.

Shri Shrimant Malojiraje Chattrapati, Honorary Secretary – AISSMS

All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society was conceived by Rajashri  Shrimant  Shri  Shahu Chattrapati  Maharaj in 1917. Today,at AISSMS, we continue the colossal task of social reform through education as initiated by him. We try to maintain the high standards set by him, follow the rich traditions, emulate his principles and thrive on his ethos and philosophy. His principles have served us well. Today our work in education, engineering, management, pharmacy, hotel management and catering technology reaches people all over the country and the world. Our students’ community extends far beyond the AISSMS campus,  with sizable alumni  around the globe. The AISSMS has a distinctive mission and history that set us apart from the other educational societies.The interests of stake holders, namely students, parents and above all, society will always remain at our top priority. We strive to develop every individual to his or her best potential. I welcome all the students joining us at the AISSMS College of Engineering to become a part of our fraternity and promise them a rewarding experience they shall cherish and relish for the rest of their lives.

I’m glad to signify that with the year 2017, AISSMS College of Engineering has completed 25 grand years of its establishment.

AISSMS COE as an outcome of academic excellence achieved, is consistently producing University gold medalists and top rankers in different branches of engineering. Faculty is actively involved in research and development. College has number of very high-end analytical, computational and experimental facilities at the disposal of students.As we are in 25th year, we have inclined our focus towards Research Field. We are going to concentrate more upon the Engineering Research activities and use those for students and society welfare.

The teaching program also gives emphasis on practical approach through industry-institute interaction. College organizes various Symposia, Workshops, Conferences and national level students’ symposium and exposition ‘AISSMS Engineering Today’, Cultural Event like Shivanjali and Inter collegiate event named Ashwamedh every year which are a grand success. College has high participants in Sports as well as Cultural Activities. Also students actively work for different Technical teams under Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Students are also involved in Social cause under National Service Scheme, which arranges Blood donation Camp every year. Students are also involved in College’s Magazine Committee named SHIVDARPAN, which has been publishing finest and creative ideas by our students in a magazine. Also an event organized by them, named ARTRIVAL gets a huge response.

I am confident that the College is in a position to deliver the best theoretical and practical training to the students and offer the best talent to the employers. I wish all the best to the aspiring students, parents, employers and all other stake–holders in achieving their goals.
