Team QuantumGIS, AISSMS College of Engineering, bagged first prize in Smart India Hackathon – 2022. Team received cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh for solving the problem statement “Creation of G.I.S layers through GPS data of dial 100 vehicles” posed by Madhya Pradesh Police. Team arrived at the best solution catching the full attention of Madhya Pradesh police representative Mr. Pankaj Sharma, Principal Consultant Home Department Madhya Pradesh. He said, “This is the real solution which MP police wanted”!! With this statement, team QuantumGIS, comprising 6 members led by Tejas Bang and includes Ritik Shinde, Tejas Bhate, Prajwal Gaidhani, Hrutvik Jagtap & Ishani Bhongale got overwhelmed and motivated towards next versions of software. Team worked under the guidance of their mentors Dr. Vidya N Patil and Mrs. Bhakti Patil.
