Atmanirbharata : COVID-19 Start up Competition

Happy to announce that we are organizing “Atmanirbharata : COVID-19 Start up Competition”  on the theme of Atmanirbharata against COVID-19.

AISSMS COE Pune targeting young innovators, the call for development of technology based innovative products and services to overcome health, economic and societal effects of the COVID -19 pandemic effects.

The best projects will be mentored and incubated with possible centers.
The registration and abstract submission should be done before 10 June 2020.

Startup and innovation cell, AISSMSCOE organized a visit to startup festival at COEP

Startup and innovation cell, AISSMSCOE organized a visit to startup festival at COEP,  to motivate students and make them aware of startup culture.
The BHAU’s E-Cell of COEP presented the second edition of its startup festival, Pune Startup Fest under the patronage of Startup India, and collaborations with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), JioGenNext, Pune Municipal Corporation. It is an exhibition for various kinds of startups, scheduled for the 15th and 16th of February 2020. A special attraction for the visitors at PSF’20 is the Innovation Zone and the Student Startup zone. AISSMS COE PUNE ALUMNA presented their Start up Plang.in in this event.

SMART INDIA INTERNAL HACKATHON 2020

ALL INDIA SHRI SHIVAJI MEMORIAL SOCIETY’S, COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING PUNE organized “ INTERNAL SMART INDIA HACKATHON 2020”. The event was inaugurated by chief guests, SHRI SURESH PRATAP SHINDE (Honorary Joint Secretary, AISSM Society)and SHRI PRASAD DEORE  (Director of NASSCOM). Jury members Mr. YOGESH TOPALE (Director, cognizant), Mr. RANJIT INAMDAR(Delivery Head, Cybage), Mr. Deakin Danei(VP, RBL bank), Mr. Pooja Kothari(CEO – Initiatives, Team Lead at Persistent System ) evaluated solutions provided by students shri. Suresh Shinde sir felicitated the honorable guest Mr. Prasad Deore.
The event was organized with the help of Startup and Innovation Cell of AISSMS College of Engineering. The event  coordinated by Dr.V.N PATIL  and DR S.F SAYYAD.
During the inaugural function, Shri Suresh Pratap Shinde sir rightly quoted in his speech that “There is a potential entrepreneur in each of us”, along with which he mentioned that there is tremendous scope in the work field of AUTOMATION IN AGRICULTURE. Also Shri Prasad Deore sir shared his knowledge and experience in his respected profession, he strongly mentioned the Y2K PHASE and cited the current situation of technology.
On an interview with a well renowned company called Bosch, the company stated that “Startups are the biggest competitors of their company”. The ceremony ended with a vote of thanks by DR. SHABNAM SAYYAD.
SMART INDIA HACKATHON is a nation wide initiative to provide students a platform to solve the pressing problem that the industries face in their daily work. Total 140 solutions were submitted by students in PPT format which were categorized into 3 sections namely- hardware, software and innovation. Out of which 30 teams qualified based on the evaluation done by the industry experts. Competitions such as this, involves a student’s skills, improves creativity , capability and help them link their knowledge with practical problems

IDEATHON- 2K19

STARTUP & INNOVATION CELL at AISSMS COE aim’s to launch a platform that would provide innovative solutions by young techpreneurs who would in turn be fostered & well-guided. Stepping towards this, on 7th October 2019, IDEATHON 2K19 competition organized at AISSMS COE. Mr. Pratap sanap, (solution architect, persistent systems Ltd), Mr. Sagar kothe (Associate Director, Intelligent Automation) and Mr. Yogesh Topale(Director of projects, cognizant Ltd.) Judged the competition. Students explored their idea through the presentation in front of jury members and welcomed suggestions for the same. DR. D. G. Bhalke (head of start-up and incubation)briefed about startup and competition. It is well coordinated by Dr. V. N. Patil and Ms. S. M. Manglekar. Two Shortlisted teams will get a chance to compete at the State level and earn start-up fund.
